To combat the problem of low voter turnout, RWAs in the city are launching their voter awareness campaign on Sunday. This time, however, the campaign has a dash of colour to it.
With top artists coming together at Lodhi Garden to paint a 70ft tall banner, the Flavour of Art Foundation has become a new vehicle for RWAs to reach out to the masses through innovative means.
“We are conducting a poster-making competition to make the process as creative as possible. We are taking in whatever posters, poems or any other creative support that we are getting from the residents to encourage voting,” said Rajiv Kakria, member of GK RWA.
The event will also feature street plays to attract the attention of voters.
The event, which will be flagged off at 8.30am, will conclude at 12.30pm.
