A lot of girls are mislead into the ugly world of flesh trade.
The woman had earlier this month alleged she was raped by a 24-year-old man, her male friend, following which an FIR was registered and he was arrested and sent to jail. After the incident, the woman was counselled, but she remained depressed as her family and neighbours rebuked her.
Sources said she had eloped with her friend. However, when her family came to know of the incident they approached the police and insisted that the man be arrested on charges of abduction.
The woman in her statement earlier stated she went with the man at will but later retracted. A case of rape was registered against the man after she gave a complaint stating the man raped her on the pretext of marriage.
