Lok Sabha sources said that the Speaker gave the order on Thursday.
Renge Patil, who represents the Parbhani constituency of Maharashtra, had defied the party whip to be present in the House on July 22 and vote against the Manmohan Singh government during the trust vote in the aftermath of the Ind-US nuclear deal. He, however, remained absent.
Sena leader in the Lok Sabha Anant Geete had filed a petition and sought the disqualification of Renge Patil.
