Hazare, 74, has been surviving only on water since Aug 16, when he started his fast against corruption. Doctors have suggested to Hazare to increase his fluid intake.

Dr Tehran said that Anna has lost 7.5 kg on day 12 of his fast and the doctors will perform a regular check-up every hour.

"Anna Hazare's blood pressure dips; we are more worried than last night", he said

"Blood pressure that was earlier steady has come down and his heart rate has increased. The cause of worry is the falling blood pressure," Naresh Trehan who is monitoring Hazare's health along with his team, said in New Delhi at Ramlila Maidan this morning.

"His blood pressure has come down from 140 mmHG (millimetres of mercury) to 120 mmHG," Trehan added.

"We have taken blood samples. Results will be available by evening." Trehan said.

"His complexion shows his health condition - he has turned dark due to dehydration," he added.
