South, west Delhi to get limited water supply for two days

Water supply in some parts of south and west Delhi will be hit on Tuesday and Wednesday

Water supply will be limited on Tuesday and Wednesday in parts of south and west Delhi, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has said. This disruption is due to the flushing programme of the underground reservoir and booster pumping station of the DJB.

Areas that will be hit on Tuesday include Dakshinpuri, Ambedkar Nagar, Madangir, Devli areas, Panchsheel, Pushp Vihar, Panchsheel Enclave, Shahpur Jat and adjoining areas, Gulmohar Park, Neeti Bagh, Uday Park, Jamrud Pur, East of Kailash, GK Enclave, Mahipal, Pocket A-14 and adjoining areas, Kalkaji Extension, Jangpura, Lajpat Nagar, Bhogal, Amba Bagh, Swami Dayanand Colony, Range Uri Village, Munirka DDA flats, 288st Tilak Nagar area, DG-II Block Vikaspuri, B1A Block Janakpuri, 112 LIG Hari Nagar, 332 LIG Rajouri Garden, 552 Slum Qtr Madipur, Dushagra Area, OKL, 32,33,34 Block West Patel Nagar, BG(I) Shalimar Bagh, BG 2,3,5 LIG Paschim Vihar, Mansarover Park, Ram Nagar, Kabool Nagar, Shri Ram Nagar, Old Shahadra and adjoining area, Pocket ABC-II Dilshad Garden, Khichripur, Kalyanpuri, Gharoli Village and Vinod Nagar, and Swami Dayanand Colony.

The areas that will he impacted on Wednesday include, Dakshinpuri, Ambedkar Nagar, Madangir, Devli areas, Panchsheel, Pushp Vihar, Panchsheel Enclave, Shahpur Jat and adjoining areas, Gulmohar Park, Neeti Bagh, Uday Park, Jamrud Pur, East of Kailash, GK Enclave, Mahipal Pur Village, Fatehpur, Vasant Kunj, DA Block LIG Hari Nagar, Lal Mandir Baljeet Nagar, Nankhaddi area, Tagore Garden, DDA Flats, Pandav Nagar, Vikaspuri and Uttam Nagar area, E-Block Rohini, RK block Dilshad Garden, IK Vihar, 112 Slum Tenaments, Viveka Nandpuri BPS, Khichripur, Kalyanpuri, Gharoli Village and Vinod Nagar.

Residents have been advised to store water in advance.
