Stalker attacks girl at home in Gurgaon

A 23-year-old woman executive working with a private firm was allegedly attacked with a knife by an unknown assailant in her house, police said on Sunday. HT reports.

A 23-year-old woman executive working with a private firm was allegedly attacked with a knife by an unknown assailant in her house, police said on Sunday.

The incident took place on Saturday evening at Chauma village in Palam Vihar, police said. The man was allegedly present in the house when the victim, identified as Rekha Singh, reached her house. After attacking her, he fled.

According to the police, the attacker may have been stalking Singh for a few days as he was inside her house when she opened the door.

Singh, who works with Auto India Private Limited in Udhyog Vihar Phase 4, has been living on the second floor of the house as tenant.
