Swamy gave ‘the clean chit’ to the PM saying the “legal arm” of government hadn’t informed him of what to do. “On reading the PMO’s affidavit it appears that nobody told the PM about the Supreme Court judgment saying a complaint has to be replied within three months of its receiving,” he told the court.

Swamy praised the PM in his response to attorney general GE Vahanvati’s submissions on the law governing sanction for prosecuting a minister in a corruption case.
