"The collection has gone up from Rs 13,448 crore in 2009-10 to Rs 16,478 crore in 2010-11," chief minister Sheila Dikshit, who also holds the charge of Finance department, said.

"Percentage-wise, we achieved maximum in revenue collection through tax on vehicles. Worry is that increase in number of vehicles cause traffic jams but the positive side is that more people are capable of buying cars," Dikshit said.
