A delegation of TDP leaders today met CBI Director A P Singh here today and demanded re-investigation into the sensational killing of its MLA Paritala Ravi in 2005.

The delegation led by TDP MP Nama Nageswara Rao urged the agency to investigate all angles in the murder, including the possibility of involvement of political leaders.
"The CBI Director said he will look into the case," Rao said outside the agency headquarters here. Ravi was killed on January 24, 2005 creating ripples in the state politics.
His killing has also inspired a Bollywood movie 'Rakth Charitra' which starred Vivek Oberoi in the lead role. The petition says, "The role of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in this murder and events followed thereon has not being investigated properly."
Interestingly, the main accused in the case was also killed. "The Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy said he spent 60 days to protect Jaganmohan when he was involved in the murder.
Now that both are fighting, the truth is coming out," Rao said. Rao in the petition said Ravindra had feared for his life and repeatedly appealed that Rajasekhara and his son Jaganmohan were plotting to kill him in connivance with handpicked police officials. The CBI had filed a charge sheet in the case and the trial is currently on. Jaganmohan Reddy has revolted against the Congress leadership and left it.
