Teenager kills boy to take revenge on his father

Dharmendra Yadav (15) was allegedly murdered by the accused, Amit Yadav, who was later arrested from his house on Friday morning, Kavi Nagar Station Officer, Inspector Rajesh Chaudhary told HT.

Babulal Yadav, the victim’s father, had an altercation with the accused last week.

“On Friday morning, we found him murdered,” said Babulal Yadav.

The accused also operates a dairy business and was in competition with the victim’s father, police said.

“Last week, the victim’s father and the accused had an altercation over some pending payments issue. Dharmendra was murdered for revenge,” Chaudhary said.

Amit was arrested after Babulal lodged an FIR against him.

“Amit confessed to his crime and has been booked under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC),” police said.
