Speaker Meira Kumar asked members who wanted to raise the issue to wait till question hour was over.

Minister of state in Prime Minister's Office V Narayanasamy replied to a few questions on nuclear power plants amid slogan shouting by pro-Telangana members.

Narayanasamy said Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa had written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the power situation in the state and the letter was under his consideration.

He said 90% of recommendations of panels on nuclear safety, set up in the wake of damage suffered by the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan after an earthquake and tsunami in March last year, had been implemented.

As the pro-Telangana members kept raising slogans, the speaker adjourned the house till 12.
