Interestingly, apart from usual three effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhkarna, Ramlila at Indraprastha Extention also saw the burning of three effigies symbolising terrorists on the LOC.

While Rama burnt the effigies of Ravana, four BSF personnel burnt the effigies of the terrorists, celebrating the victory of the armed forces over terrorists from across the border.

“Our soldiers are fighting these terrorists every day. Dussehra is the best occasion to send out a message against the evil of terrorism, “ said Jeewesh Sharma, spokesperson for Indraprasth Ramlila Committee.
