PWD Minister Raj Kumar Chauhan inaugurated the flyover which is expected to ease the huge traffic volume on the stretch.
Two flyovers here were already inaugurated by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on October 14. The latest flyover will also ensure uninterrupted connectivity from IGI Airport to the Games Village near the Akshardham temple.
Speaking on the occasion, Chauhan said all Commonwealth Games-related projects would be completed within the stipulated time frame.
"We are constantly monitoring progress of the work linked to the sporting event. "We are confident that the visitors during the Games would be able to carry a good impression about the city with their memorable stay here which is known as a city of flyovers," he said.
He also said the government has undertaken a comprehensive exercise to install modern street lights and street scapping of all major roads.
