Two of the three arrested accused hail from Manipur, while the third is from Mizoram. They have been identified as John Lalmingthanga, 35, an ex-serviceman from the Assam Rifles, Ashem Danny Singh, 32, and Lalawmpuia, 27, from Mizoram.
Sanjiv Kumar Yadav, DCP (special cell), said they received a tip-off that John Lalmingthanga would deliver a consignment to his associates near a school in Janakpuri, west Delhi. Lalmingthanga, the police claimed, was helping Khumanba, top commander of the outlawed Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL), in financing his terror activities through the narcotics trade.
