Three members of family found dead in South Delhi

The bloodstained bodies of grocer Chote Lal, his wife Shanti Devi and their nine-year-old son have been discovered from their house in a village near East of Kailash.

Three members of a family were found dead in a south Delhi village early on Friday, police said.

The bloodstained bodies of grocer Chote Lal, his wife Shanti Devi and their nine-year-old son were discovered from their house in a village near East of Kailash at around 8.40 am.

"There were stab marks on the bodies of Lal and his wife and strangulation marks on the minor. We are treating it as a case of murder," said a police official.

Someone known to the family could have committed the murders, he added.
