Topper says she never did this well before

Having scored 96.2%, Anjali Gautam is the proud topper among all government school students of Delhi. Although she had been a bright student, but Gautam says she has never scored this high ever. And now, she wants to get into a good engineering college, just like her elder brother.

"I didn't expect to score this high, though I did know that I will score well," said a jubilant Gautam.

Gautam also wants to sit for the UPSE exam after completing B.Tech. To pursue her aim, she even shifted from a Sarvodaya school to Rajkiya Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya (RPVV) two years ago, as the former did not offer science as a subject. The daughter of a local property dealer, Gautam had scored 89.6% in 10th boards.
