The South Delhi Municipal Corporation on Friday inaugurated a one-way carriage from Delhi Cantt towards Uttam Nagar on Pankha Road flyover. It has been in the making for the last three years. The other carriageway will be opened before Diwali.

“Pankha Road is one of the important traffic arteries of West Delhi, linking Najafgarh Road and Station Road to NH-8,” said Leader of the House, South Corporation, Subhash Arya, who inaugurated the flyover.

Arya said this stretch is approximately 6.25km. The road connects Dwarka with Janakpuri and a number of other thickly populated unauthorised regularised colonies.
