Besides Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee, Leader of Lok Sabha Pranab Mukherjee, Leader of Opposition LK Advani and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V Narayansamy paid tributes.

A booklet containing a profile of Netaji was brought out on the occasion and presented to the dignitaries, a Lok Sabha Secretariat release said.

A portrait of Netaji was unveiled on this day in 1978 by then President N Sanjiv Reddy in the Central Hall of Parliament.
