Identified as Afzal, 28, and Vicky, 23, both residents of east Delhi's Trilokpuri, the men were arrested from south Delhi's Saket. The accused were waiting for their associates and were poised to commit another crime on December 7, said Chhaya Sharma, DCP(south).
According to police, the accused duo were able to gather information about locations where such functions were held through the wife of one of their associates, Irfan, who is a member of one such musical group.
“They used Irfan's car to high-jack cabs in which these groups would be travelling,” he said.
