“I have been invited to present the perspective of a young leader on the problems and issues faced by India. I will speak on September 19,” Varun told PTI about his invitation by US-based Indo-American Charity Foundation (IACF).

The 29-year old leader will be the first Indian Parliamentarian to deliver a lecture for the foundation. The topic, according to the organisers, is “India’s place in the New Global Order”.

IACF is a Houston-based Indian community group.

Varun is likely to share his views on a young and resurgent India and talk about India’s development challenges and importance of economic growth through scientific development and adoption of intelligent policies, the organisers said.

Varun will also hold a special session with leading medical professionals of the Texas Medical Centre and also make a special visit to NASA.
