And Saturday turned out to be an action-packed day after the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) candidates Manohar Naagar and Ashish Gehlot were denied entry into the Dyal Singh College.

The quarrel ended in a brawl, which injured two NSUI supporters and one student of the college.

Naagar and Gehlot, candidates for the post of vice-president and the joint secretary and few of their supporters, had gone to the Dyal Singh College for campaign.

Students of the college, however, stopped them on the ground that all their supporters were not students but outsiders, touching off the violence.
