Like Gujarat and West Bengal, who have megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan as brand ambassadors, the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation wants a well-known face in India and abroad to promote the city.

After the names are shortlisted, the final decision will be taken by chief minister Sheila Dikshit, who is also Delhi’s tourism minister.
