Water crisis in Sant Nagar

Sant Nagar residents are facing acute shortage of water. Not only is the water supply erratic but also contaminated. Residents claimed that several complaints to the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) have only fallen on deaf ears.

Sant Nagar residents are facing acute shortage of water. Not only is the water supply erratic but also contaminated. Residents claimed that several complaints to the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) have only fallen on deaf ears.

"We are reeling under acute water shortage. The water often contains dirt. DJB officials have turned a deaf ear to our repeated complaints," said Vinod Bansal, spokesperson of Sant Nagar Peyjal Sangharsh Samiti.

He said the DJB helpline numbers are of little use.
