“The high point of the Opposition was floor management and that of the government mismanagement,” Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley said.

Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj said the party combined debate and walkouts to force the government to talk on price rise, leading to a united Opposition attack on the government.

She added that the BJP successfully backed the women’s Bill, while the government failed in floor management, leading to marshals being called to remove protesting members.

On the Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage Bill, she said, Opposition unity was again achieved, forcing the government to defer.

“We had a successful strategy on each matter... We are very happy at this juncture,” Swaraj said.
