Woman’s body found in bed box in east Delhi

The decomposed body of a 60-year-old woman was found inside the box of a double bed in north east Delhi’s Sonia Vihar on Saturday morning.

The woman has been identified as Meena Kumar. Her husband, Rakesh, had been missing since the incident and was the main suspect in the case, the police said.

The incident came to light after the neighbours complained of foul smell emanating from the house. A PCR call was made and the police team broke open the door to find the woman’s body inside the box.
