CBSE Board class 12th exam: Political Science exam analysis
The Political Science Paper for Grade 12 would fall into the range of medium to difficult in terms of difficulty levels. The paper was uncertain as topics previously seen as important found place in one-mark questions, and more focus was on gauging the application of concepts.
The MCQs/one-mark questions were easy as they tested the basic concepts from the syllabus. In all three sets, the one-mark questions covered all essential topics from Contemporary World Politics and Indian politics.
Two-mark and four-mark questions were easy and focused on students' ability to analyse the content, suggest measures and highlight the role or function of various organisations/strategies.
The map question was a delight. It was easy and could be answered if the student had practised from the past year's papers. The picture question was picked from the NCERT textbook itself.
The six-mark questions were majorly from contemporary world politics and wanted to assess the student’s capacity to engage with global politics by giving specific examples from the past or suggesting measures for the future.

CBSE Board: Class 12th Political Science Exam Analysis
Many questions in the CBSE Class XII Political Science paper came directly from the book, but a few questions in some sets were from the newly added content as well. The paper across the 3 Sections A, B, and C was easy to moderate. The questions were also straightforward, and some were very tricky, especially from section A. Most of the students were confident in attempting the paper and were also extremely satisfied with their performance. I expect many students to score well."
