The registration process for Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) 64th preliminary examination 2018 began on Friday. The commission (BPSC) had issued a notification on Thursday inviting applications for 64th common Combined preliminary Competitive Examination. The commission has invited applications to fill 1255 posts, including 571 posts of Revenue officer, 233 posts of supply inspector and 40 posts in Bihar Police Service through this notification.

The registration process began on Friday and will continue till August 20, the last date to pay examination fees is August 24 and the last date to apply online is August 31. Candidates will be able to pay the fees after 11am a day after registration and candidates can apply online after 11am a day after fee payment.

Eligibility for BPSC

Age: Candidates can check the age limit to apply for a particular post through the notification on the website as there are some variations in the minimum age depending on the post one is applying for.

Educational qualification: A candidates should have a graduation or equivalent degree from a recognised university by the last date of filing the application.

Candidates will find information about the number of vacancies for various posts, relaxation of age and criteria for reservation through the notification.

They will be asked to choose an optional subject for the main examination while applying for the preliminary examination. The commission will not entertain any request for a change in the optional subject later.
