CBSE UGC NET 2018 result and revised answer key released

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to declare the final answer key and result of National Eligibility Test 2018, which is also known as UGC NET, this week, reports said on Monday.

The Central Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday declared the result and revised answer key of National Eligibility Test 2018. The provisional answer key of the exam held on July 8 and July 22 of Paper 2 at a centre in Allahabad was released recently and the last day to raising objections was July 27.

Candidates can check their results on cbseresults.nic.in and cbsenet.nic.in .

CBSE UGC NET result 2018: Steps to check

1) Visit the official website of CBSE results at cbseresults.nic.in

2) Click on the link for CBSE - UGC Net Examination - July 2018

3) Enter your application number, roll number and date of birth on the login page that opens

4) Submit

5) The result will be displayed on the screen

The education board conducted the UGC NET 2018 exam in 91 cities at 2,082 centres across the country in 84 different subjects for 11,48,235 registered candidates. This is the maximum number of candidates to have registered ever for the exam.

The CBSE conducts UGC NET on the behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges as well as the Junior Research Fellowship.
