Éclat, the ­economics ­society of Daulat Ram College, Delhi University, will launch the ­inaugural edition of its annual ­magazine named Optima Towards Excellence and blog called Econovogue today. While Optima aims to provide ­students an ­opportunity to give ­expression to their thoughts and ideas, Econovogue ­provides ­students an ­all-­encompassing platform to facilitate ­meaningful ­discussions on wide ­ranging ­economic and political issues. Articles on euro zone crisis, ­financial ­inclusion, ­microfinance, ­fiscal ­deficit, the Indian economy, rural ­electrification, gold imports, LGBT, caps and trades etc will be featured in the magazine. It also ­features an interview with Arup Mitra, an economist at Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi
