DU 5th cut-off list released

The Delhi University has released the fifth cut-off list for merit-based admissions in undergraduate courses.

The Hindu college has released the fifth cut-off list.

Seats filled after the fourth cut-off list

Around 50,000 seats out of the total 56,000 seats have already been filled in Delhi University. Maximum admissions till now have been done in BA Programme with 8,612 seats being filled out of the total 10,172 seats. In BCom, there have been 5,137 admissions against a total of 6,483 seats. BCom (Hons) has a total of 6,273 seats and 5,085 admissions have been done. Most colleges have completed admission in popular courses but some might still issue another list. At Ramjas College, admission will be open for Honors courses in Economics, BCom, History and English, principal Manoj Khanna said. At Hindu College all courses will be closed. “We have had over admission in Economics (Hons) and English (Hons),” said Anju Srivastva, officiating principal.

DU plans sixth cut-off

The university was earlier planning to only release five cutoff lists and conduct a centralised counselling to fill the remaining seat. But the university has now decided to release a sixth cutoff if seats remain vacant after the fifth list.
