TSPSC Recruitment: Apply for 71 Librarian posts in Telangana

TSPSC Librarian Recruitment: Eligible candidates can submit their forms till February 10 (5 pm) on tspsc.gov.in.

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has started the application process for 71 Librarian vacancies in Intermediate Education and Technical Education in the state. Eligible candidates can submit their forms till February 10 (5 pm) on tspsc.gov.in.

Of the total posts, 40 are for Librarian under control of commissioner of Intermediate Education and the other 31 are for Librarian under control of commissioner of Technical Education.

For Librarian under Intermediate education, candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Arts, Science or Commerce and a postgraduate degree in Library Science with first or second class (not less than 50% marks) from a recognised university.

For Librarian under Technical education, there are two levels. For level 9-A. a master's degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least first class and knowledge of computerization of library will be required.

In addition, candidates need to qualify national level test conducted or approved by UGC.

For level 10, a master's degree with first class and UGC NET, CSIR NET or other UGC approved qualifications like SLET, CET or PhD will be considered.

The age limit for all posts is 18 to 44 years.

To shortlist candidates, TSPSC will hold an objective type exam in May/June 2023.
