IIMC Admission 2019-20: The online registration process for IIMC admissions 2019-20 session has begun and will close on May 12, 2019. Indian Institute of Mass Communication offers PG Diploma in eight courses. Interested candidates can register for admission online at iimc.nic.in.
The IIMC Entrance test will be held on May 25 and 26. It will be a national level entrance test.

ELIGIBILITY : Indian nationals possessing a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by a recognized university are eligible to apply. Students who have appeared / are appearing for a degree examination are also eligible to apply. If selected, their admission will be subject to their producing at least a provisional certificate in original from their college / university latest by 31 August 2019.
IIMC ENTRANCE TEST SCHEDULE
25 May -------9 a.m -11 a.m. Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Urdu Journalism
26 May ----- -9 a.m –11a.m. English, Hindi Journalism
26 May ------12 p.m – 2 p.m. Radio & TV Journalism
26 May -------- 3 p.m – 5 p.m. Advertising and PR
IIMC Entrance Test: The written test will be for 75 marks. Questions will be asked from following topics:
General Awareness, including an understanding of the current trends in social-political dynamics, social-cultural history, legal and Constitutional provisions, Rights of Citizens, Developmental issues – health, education, ecology and economy, Global developments and their impact on India.
Aptitude and mental make up
Language skills : written and oral
Analytical and comprehension skills
Ethics and values
Social Consciousness
Lateral thinking capabilities
Creativity, Brand awareness and recall (for Advertising & PR)
GROUP DISCUSSION AND INTERVIEW
Candidates who clear the written test will be ranked course and category wise. They will be called for group discussion and interview. GD and interview is scheduled for last week of June or first week of July.
Group Discussion carries 10 marks
Interview carries 15 marks .
APPLICATION FEE
The fees for Entrance Examination is ₹1,500 for each course for General Category and ₹1,000 for OBC / SC/ST/PH/EWS category.

Hindi Journalism -------------- ₹52,000 for first semester and ₹43,500 for second semester
Radio & TV --------------------- ₹88,500 for first semester and ₹80,000 for second semester
Advertising & PR-------------- ₹70,000 for first semester and ₹61,500 for second semester
Malayalam Journalism ------ ₹32,000 for first semester and ₹23,500 for second semester
Marathi Journalism --------- ₹32,000 for first semester and ₹23,500 for second semester
Odia Journalism ------------ ₹32,000 for first semester and ₹23,500 for second semester
