The JAC Class 10 and Class 12 results were delayed because of an indefinite strike called by contractual workers demanding regularisation of jobs.
This year Class 10 exams were taken by around 4.75 lakh students at 932 centres and 3.21 lakh students wrote the Class 12 exams in 459 centres. Both the examinations began on February 17.
In 2015, Jharkhand was the first state to declare the board results. Around 4.5 lakh Class 10 students and three lakh Class 12 students took the exams last year.
