The test, which is created by the global non-profit Law School Admission Council (LSAC), assesses critical-thinking, logical reasoning, problem-solving skills and traits that are needed for successful law practitioners.
Dan Bernstine, president, LSAC, says, “The feedback we have received from colleges regarding students selected using LSAT- India is very encouraging and we are delighted to see that more colleges than ever are acknowledging the benefits of this prestigious test.”
LSAT India is specially created for admissions to law schools in India by the Law School Admission Council, USA (LSAC). The LSAC has been helping law schools in various countries evaluate the critical-thinking skills of their applicants for more than 60 years.
Colleges such as Alliance University Law School, Bangalore, Noida International University, Greater Noida and Sharda University, Greater Noida, will now accept LSAT India scores for admissions to their 2014 batches.
The exam, which is very popular in the US and other countries, offers the flexibility to apply to any of the associated colleges with a single test. It is an important, relevant way for colleges to determine the most suitable law study applicants.
