Orissa boy shatters 5-yr CBSE Class X record

Subhankar Mohapatra, a student of the DAV School here, has topped the nationwide Class X CBSE exam, securing 493 marks out of 500. Subhankar broke the previous national record of 98.4 per cent scored by a student in 2000.

At the All-India level, Chennai region continued to lead the CBSE race with the highest pass percentage (89.44) in Class X results.



The results saw Ajmer and Chandigarh take the second and third slots respectively.



Delhi managed a fifth place with 68.11 per cent.
