UPPSC declares PCS-2014 final results, check it here
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) announced the results of its prestigious Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam-2014, commonly known as PCS, on Tuesday.
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) announced the results of its prestigious Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Exam-2014, commonly known as PCS, on Tuesday.

As many as 579 candidates have bagged jobs on 21 different posts including sub-divisional magistrate (SDM) and deputy superintendent of police (DSP).
This year the commission has declared the results of its most prestigious recruitment exam without announcing the names of the toppers or successful candidates for the first time in the history of UPPSC. The results merely contain the roll numbers and the registration numbers of the successful candidates.
"Marksheet and category/post wise cut-offs will be declared soon on UPPSC's official website," said UPPSC secretary Rizwan-Ur Rahman.
In May 2015, the commission had taken the sudden decision to not announce the names of toppers of its recruitment exams without giving any concrete reason. The UPPSC move comes at a time when the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has started a new trend of uploading the names as well as photographs of the five toppers in its civil services examination.
Through PCS-2014, 42 candidates have been selected as sub-divisional magistrate (SDM), 92 as deputy superintendent of police (DSP), 41 as assistant commissioner (commercial tax), six as superintendent (jail), three as district commandant (home guards), six as basic shiksha adhikari (BSA), seven as district backward class welfare officer, nine as district physically handicapped welfare officer, eight as assistant labour commissioner, 17 as district food and supply officer, 150 as commercial tax officer and 68 as nayab tehsildar, four as assistant commissioner (cooperative) among others.
