Ravindra Choubey

Ravindra Choubey is a Congress veteran in Chhattisgarh. He is the cabinet minister in chief minister Bhupesh Baghel's government. He is a senior minister and leader looking after the parliamentary affairs ministry of Chattisgarh. Between 2009 and 2013, Ravindra Choubey was the leader of opposition in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly when BJP's Raman Singh was the chief minister. Choubey has held several senior level positions in undivided Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. He was the cabinet minister under former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh. He was also a minister in the Ajit Jogi government. Saja is part of the state's Bemetara district. In 2013, Labhj Chand Bafna of the BJP had won the elections. In 2018, Choubey won.
