Exit Polls 2022 Uttar Pradesh highlights: After the seventh phase polling for Uttar Pradesh ended, several media houses and agencies released their exit polls figures. The exit polls are predictions of how political parties fared in the elections. On Monday, the exit polls for elections to 403-member Uttar Pradesh Assembly were released. The majority of exit polls predicted a saffron sweep in India's most populous state. The BJP is predicted to retain power in UP with a landslide majority, but with lesser seats than the 2017 tally. The saffron party's prime challenger Samajwadi Party is set to finish second with a higher number seats.

54.18% voter turnout till 5 pm
The voter turnout has been recorded at 54.18 per cent till 5pm in the seventh and final phase of assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh.
46.40% voter turnout recorded till 3pm
The voter turnout till 3pm in UP has been recorded at 46.40%, with Chandauli maintaining the leading position with 50.79%. It is followed by Sonbhadra district with 49.84% and Bhadohi with 47.49%.
35.51% polling recorded till 1pm, Chandauli takes lead now
Till 1pm, 35.51% voter turnout has been recorded across 54 assembly constituencies in nine districts of Uttar Pradesh where the seventh and final phase of the month-long elections is underway. Chandauli district has taken over Mau with highest turnout till 1pm with 38.43%, followed by Mirzapur with 38.10% and Mau with 37.08%.

Samajwadi Party's ally Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party's president OP Rajbhar said on Monday that "BJP and BSP will not win a single seat in Ghazipur, Mau, Azamgarh, Ambedkar Nagar and Ballia" districts that are voting today in the seventh and final phase of Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. "We're winning on five of eight seats in Varanasi, three of four seats in Chandauli, seven of nine seats in Jaunpur. We'll win 45-47 seats in Purvanchal region," he was quoted as saying by ANI.
