Aamir explained the cinematic lineage of the house, saying that in several of his uncle Hussain’s films, such as Teesri Manzil (1966) and Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai (1961), the parties were shot on the same lawn. “There are very few such bungalows with cinematic history left now. Yusuf Sahab’s (Dilip Kumar) bungalow, DevAnand’s, Raj Kapoor and Saira Banu’s bungalows have strong ties with cinema. These places have such lovely history to it,” said Aamir.
