Anushka supports Anna Hazare
The actor joins the list of celebs who have spoken in favour of the anti-corruption movement.
Following in the footsteps of many actors who have pledged their support for Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption movement, Anushka Sharma too is in favour of Hazare’s move to implement the hotly debated Jan Lokpal Bill.

The 23-year-old actor says that any campaign to end corruption must be encouraged. “Like everyone else, I am also moved by this agitation. It is a great movement, heading us towards a more democratic and stronger nation,” she says, adding, “I feel what lacks in our country is that we don’t feel dignified about ourselves as corruption is everywhere. Most problems stem out of it. If corruption can be tackled, we’ll be able to live a more dignified life. I am for the movement and will extend my support in every way possible.”
Anushka, who recently met her ‘biggest’ fan on the show — Live My Life on UTV STARS, which will air tonight, says that she values everything her fans do for her. “Anything they do is special. The way they shout out your name or ask for an autograph. For this fan, a 21-year-old boy called Nayab, I got a chance to do something. I planned his entire day and we chatted a lot.”
