Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has thanked all the fans and wellwishers for their prayers and good wishes for his newborn daughter. He also informed that his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter are doing well and taking much-needed rest.

"Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes. Both Aishwarya and the baby are doing great and taking some much needed rest...," he tweeted.
The actor himself is trying to catch some sleep but is "too excited".
"And I'm trying my level best to get rid of this caffeine high and get some sleep too. Don't think it'll work. TOO EXCITED!!!!" he added.
The Bachchan family has been blessed with a baby girl on Wednesday morning. Ash was admitted to the hospital on Monday night, according to her spokesperson.
