Leading the list is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Black and Subhash Ghai's Kisna, both of which are being eagerly awaited.

While the pre-release countdown for Black and its marketing campaign still remains a closely guarded secret, the film is being looked forward to for stellar performances by both Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji in the roles of a mentor and a blind student.

On the other hand, Subhash Ghai's bilingual Kisna (in English and Hindi) attempts to bring back the days of the British Raj through an Indian (Vivek Oberoi) who falls in love with a British girl played by Antonia Bernath. The response to the film is crucial for both Ghai, who received a setback when Yaadein flopped, and Vivek Oberoi, who was disillusioned with the response to his last release, Kyon Ho Gaya Na.
