What Aamir said about Salman

During the fun conversation, Aamir and Salman jokingly grilled Murugadoss to choose the better actor between the two of them. Aamir has previously worked with Murugadoss in Ghajini. Salman asked AR Murugadoss, “Who’s the better actor? Who’s more hardworking? Who’s more sincere?" Aamir interjected, “All the boring things." Murugadoss giggled, while Aamir said, “Sir, actor also, he is better. Have you seen Dabangg?"

'His emotional scenes are outstanding'

Murugadoss said that Salman handled the emotional scenes very well, often crying on cue without the use of glycerin. Aamir agreed and said, “No, but I’ve seen, his emotional scenes are outstanding.” The director said that it is very hard to do an emotional scene when the camera is focusing only on the face, with no other actor around, and Salman handled these scenes in the film very well.

Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna. Salman showered praises on her dedication and hardwork, and said how Rashmika would shoot all day and handle the schedules between Sikandar and Pushpa 2, finding little time to rest.

The film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. AR Murugadoss is known for directing Tamil and Hindi films such as Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Sarkar. Sikandar also stars Kajal Aggarwal. It releases in theatres on March 30.
