A video of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya Bachchan reciting a Hindi poem recently surfaced on the internet. Fans reacted to the video by praising Aaradhya Bachchan for carrying forward the legacy of her family, and called her a super combination of the Bachchan and Rai genes. Abhishek also came across the compliments that his daughter was receiving and reacted to it with folded-hands emoji.

The video, which appears to be taken from an online Hindi elocution competition held at Aaradhya's school, showed her praising the language and saying that poetry is the best way to learn a new language. Aaradhya, who had her hair tied in two ponytails and was wearing her school uniform, is heard reciting a poem, "Hindi ke madhurim shabdon ki jab lari piroyi jaati hai, tab kavi ke vaani se ek mithi kavita ban jaati hai."

The 10-year-old adds, "Hindi hamari rajbhasha hai. Kavita bhasha ka sabse sundar roop hai, aur kehte hain, ki kisi bhi bhasha ko yadi aasaani se sikhna ho, to kavita dwara sikho. To isi kavita ki mithaas lekar, hum Primary ke bacche, aapke saamne, sundar kavitayein prastoot karne jaa rhe hain. Asha hai, in kavitaon mein aapko Hindi ke prati hum bachchon ka pyaar awasya dikhai dega. (Hindi is our national language, and poems are the most beautiful form of a language. It is said that if you want to learn a language easily, you should learn it through poems. Us primary students are going to present beautiful poems to you. We hope that you will see the love we kids have for Hindi in these poems)."

A fan page of Aaradhya shared the video on Twitter and mentioned that it was from her school's Hindi Elocution Competition 2021-22. Another user retweeted the video with the caption, "The legacy continues," and tagged Aaradhya's father Abhishek and grandfather Amitabh Bachchan. Abhishek replied to the tweet with folded-hands emoji.

Some compared Aaradhya to her father Abhishek, grandfather Amitabh, and great-grandfather, late poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. "That confidence and flair of her great grand father, grand father and father!" one wrote. Others compared her to her mother Aishwarya Rai, with one saying, "What a bright child! Just like her mum." Another wrote, "Seems like Aaradhya has her mother’s voice." A third one called her, "Aishwarya number 2."

One fan said that Aaradhya is a great combination of the Rai and the Bachchan family. "So cute she is! Stay blessed! Super Bachchan Rai combination," the Twitter user wrote.

A Twitter user called Aaradhya a "born actress," adding, "she will be one of the greatest actress in Indian cinema...look at her confidence facial expression ...oratory...great going kiddo." Another commented, "She speaks so well. A beautiful, well spoken young lady with the confidence to match. I love it, my youngest daughter is the same age as Aaradhya I showed her this clip and she also loved it. thanks for inspiring your peers Aaradhya."

It comes after a video of Aaradhya performing on Saare Jahaan Se Accha and AR Rahman’s rendition of Vande Mataram for her school’s virtual Republic Day function surfaced on social media in January this year. In the clip, Aaradhya stood in front of the tricolour and animatedly performed a medley of patriotic songs.
