Actor Amitabh Bachchan shared a throwback picture of himself on Sunday but fans were instantly reminded of Sonu Sood. The photo was from the look test for his 1971 movie Reshma Aur Shera.

In the photo, Amitabh Bachchan was seen in a Rajasthani man's outfit. He wore a large turban on his head, two necklaces and earrings. His eyes are also rimmed with kohl. Sharing the photo, he wrote, "My look test for film Reshma aur Shera .. 1969 .. I actually got selected !!"

His granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda left a heart emoji on the post. Ranveer Singh shared a star emoji. His fans, however, could not help but notice how much he looked like Sonu Sood in the photo. "You look like Sonu sood," wrote one. "Who thought its Sonu Sood at first glance," wrote another.

Sonu is a fan of the veteran actor and had also appeared on his show Kaun Banega Crorepati to promote his book I Am Not A Messiah. When a fan compared him to Amitabh, Sonu gave them a humble reply.

A fan had written, “Jab sab theek ho jayega, uske baad appko har Sunday shoot se chutti leni padegi. Log apse milne aenge. Jo log ghumne ayenge wo puchenge ki Sonu Sood ka ghar kahan hain. Sonu Sood agla Amitabh (Bachchan). (When all is well and everything gets back to normal, you will have to take leaves on Sunday, from shoot. People will come to visit you, they will ask for your house. Sonu Sood is the next Amitabh).”
