Karan Deol and fiance Drisha Acharya were seen together while out and about in Mumbai. This marks their first public appearance since their engagement.

Actor Karan Deol, who is the son of actor-politician Sunny Deol, reportedly got engaged a few months ago in an intimate ceremony. As per reports, him and longtime girlfriend Drisha Acharya had their engagement on his grandparents Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur’s anniversary. Now, the couple has made a rare public appearance. On Wednesday, photos of Karan and Drisha together in Mumbai were shared on Instagram by a paparazzo.

In the pictures, Karan followed Drisha as they walked on pavement. They were both dressed in casuals – Karan wore a black graphic T-shirt with a pair of grey shorts, and Drisha was seen in ripped blue jeans and a black T-shirt. She also wore matching black sunglasses and slip-ons.

Karan Deol and Drisha Acharya's wedding will reportedly take place between June 16-18. The actor, who will next be seen in Apne 2, has been dating Drisha for many years. She is reportedly the great granddaughter of acclaimed filmmaker Bimal Roy, and is based in Dubai, where she works as a manager at a travel agency. The duo will reportedly tie the knot in a grand ceremony in Mumbai, and have locked Taj Lands End in Mumbai's Bandra as their wedding venue. As per reports, the wedding date has been finalised, but only close friends and family know about it.

Sunny Deol and wife Pooja Deol are parents to two sons – Karan and Rajveer Deol. Karan was an assistant director on Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (2013) and had made his Bollywood debut with the 2019 film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. In a 2023 interview with Masala, Karan had opened up about father Sunny's advice to him. He had said, "Papa says whatever you do, do it naturally and well. He believes there are no shortcuts in life. You may look good for a certain while but you don’t know what harm you’re doing to yourself."

Karan is currently working on his next, Apne 2, directed by filmmaker Anil Sharma. The upcoming family drama will feature three generations of Deols – Dharmendra, sons Sunny and Bobby Deol and grandson Karan.
