Anupam Kher shared an unseen wedding picture as he wished wife Kirron Kher on their 37th wedding anniversary. The actor found the picture in his late father's archives in Shimla.

Anupam Kher has shared an unseen picture from his wedding album as he wished wife Kirron Kher on their 37th wedding anniversary. The old picture shows Kirron decked up as a bride in a golden saree and heavy jewellery, and Anupam in a dhoti and a garland around his neck.

Anupam's co-star in their upcoming film The Signature, Mahima Chaudhry wished them, “Wishing you both a very happy anniversary and a great journey ahead. You both still look the same.” Fans of the couple also wished them in the comments section. A fan wrote, “Happy wedding anniversary to you both. May God bless you both abundantly and may you have many more years of togetherness.” Many wrote “congratulations” in the comments section.

Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher married in 1985 after becoming friends during their theatre days in Chandigarh. Kirron was earlier married to Gautam Berry and they had a son, Sikandar Kher, in 1981.

Once talking about how they were friends but had no attraction to each other, Kirron had told First Post in an interview in 2013, "We both were in theatre in Chandigarh, and we were the best of friends. There was nothing he did not know about me, and I knew everything about him, up to the extent of knowing which girl he was planning to patao (woo). It was fun and we worked together well too. But there was no attraction of any kind beyond friendship.”
