Raj Kundra makes rare appearance with son Viaan; Shilpa Shetty flies out of Mumbai for a wedding. See pics
Raj Kundra made a rare public appearance on Saturday with his son Viaan Raj Kundra in tow. The father-son duo was spotted alone for the first time since Raj was entangled in a legal case earlier this year.
In the pictures, Raj and Viaan were seen exiting their Mumbai restaurant Bastian. Raj was seen wearing a black hoodie jacket with a pair of denims and a mask. Viaan, on the other hand, was seen wearing a khaki coloured outfit.
Shilpa Shetty was missing from the scene for she had flown out of Mumbai earlier in the day. The actor was photographed at the private airport in the city. She was seen wearing a bright orange lehenga with a matching overcoat. She posed for the cameras before heading to board her flight.
The actor was reportedly headed to Jaipur to attend a wedding. Anil Kapoor and Salman Khan were also spotted at the airport.
Raj's appearance comes weeks after he and Shilpa were photographed hand-in-hand outside a temple in Himachal Pradesh, which marked their first joint appearance since his arrest and bail in the porn case. The couple was seen wearing matching yellow outfits – Raj in a yellow kurta and white pyjamas and Shilpa in a yellow salwar-kameez – as they sought blessings at the temple.
The businessman was arrested in July and named the key accused in a case. Raj was accused of being involved in the production and streaming of pornographic videos. He was granted bail in September.
Shilpa has maintained a silence over the issue. However, she did issue a statement urging everyone to spare her from the media trail. “As a family, we are taking recourse to all our available legal remedies. But, till then I humbly request you - especially as a MOTHER - to respect our privacy for my children’s sake and request you to refrain from commenting on half-baked information without verifying the veracity of the same. I am a proud law-abiding Indian citizen and a hardworking professional for the last 29 years. People have put their faith in ME & I’ve never let anyone down,” Shilpa wrote.
