It was rumoured that the Poker Face singer is interested in purchasing an eight-bedroom country manor house in New York’s posh Hamptons area, with a huge swimming pool, a sunken tennis court and access to the sea by horse trail.

But Gaga’s representative has now come forward to deny the story, saying that the news is untrue.

If she would have bought a house in Hamptons, then pop star Madonna would have been one of her neighbours.
