Gambhir wore a beige kurta pyjama for the wedding ceremony and later changed to a black knee-length fusion style ensemble, while wife Natasha wore a heavily embellished red lehenga designed by Delhi designer, Tarun Tahiliani. The décor at the venue was sober with a colour scheme of red, yellow and golden. There was a spread of vegetarian delicacies for the guests. A separate arrangement was made for VIP’s, which included the cricketers and actor Juhi Chawla. At ten thirty in the night, police asked the revellers to stop the music and the party moved indoors. The couple was expected to leave for their honeymoon in Maldives yesterday.

Gambhir’s coach, Sanjay Bhardwaj, said, “Gautam is very happy that he is starting a new phase with Natasha. The families know each other for the past 30 years. I am sure that she will be the perfect lady luck for him.”
